Bamboo
 

In the summer of 2005, a friend and I started an small import of  bamboo flooring from China.

As my knowledge about importing was next to nothing, it has been a very interesting process of learning the tricks of the trade, just like making a patent its something which is nice to know.

It has not been a very smooth process, but we finally got out first shipment, and are ready to go for a bigger load next time.

Bamboo is a magnificent material,  and I can see a lot of  undiscovered possibilities.  Did you know that its 3 times harder than oak and has a tensile strength close to that of steel?

The name of the company is "Bambus kompagniet" and will mainly be servicing the Scandinavian market.
