| | | | RIVER GYPSIES, The River Gypsies, had made their living along the Bangladeshi rivers for centuries, but are now on the verge of extinction. The government are doing their best to make the Gypsies settle permanently, in order for their children to go to school. One can wonder why this is so important, this people are not suffering in any way, they have a very beautiful way of living and doesn't demand much from their surroundings. Is it really so important to give education to children, that their inherited way of living, their culture must be driven to extinction? What will happen ? The educated children will most lightly see away to the big cities, where they, as gypsies, will live a life on the bottom of the city scale. Who will benefit from this education ? The children?
