High IQ for Humanity is a nongovernmental organization dedicated to the belief that gifted individuals should use their talents and skills to actively improve the human condition.

The organization’s fundamental mission is to find and foster children of exceptional intelligence who are living in developing countries. By educating these children in their localities, HiQH is also attempting to alleviate the effects of Brain Drain by giving developing countries a reliable pool of intelligence on which to draw. HiQH is working to create sustainable development by giving young citizens the tools they need to improve their own condition, as well as the condition of their community and their country.

Children are the most important resource that any country possesses. In developing countries, however, this resource is not fully utilized because of Brain Drain, or the migration of educated persons to more developed nations. Brain Drain robs developing countries of their intellectual power and undermines their attempt to construct an educated and modern middle class. The resulting instability is a primary catalyst for civil strife, radical insurgencies and economic stagnation.

The members of High IQ for Humanity accept that migration will never cease. Therefore, we have adopted a preemptive approach that compensates for the effects of Brain Drain. High IQ for Humanity will tap this great resource and select those children that display exceptional intelligence, leadership skills, or creativity. HiQH will then purvey to those children a world-class education delivered by local teachers and internet-based software. By providing for the learning needs of our students and by constructing for them a career path that is attentive to local demands and lackings, our students will possess the tools required to make significant and positive amendments to the social, economic and political fiber of their homelands.

We believe that economic and social evolution similar to that which has taken place in western countries over the past 500 years can be incited and nurtured today inside developing countries in a much shorter time by seeding selected developing countries with projects designed to address the long-term development of indigenous talent and intellect that will one day comprise a new generation of leaders.

This new generation of leaders, and the future generations that they will influence in turn, are the breath with which the developing world shall be revived, the implement with which the current cycle of misery broken shall be broken.

High IQ for Humanity is about a completely different concept, a concept in which dollars fund the consummation of children that we will educate to become political and moral leaders, entrepreneurs, intellectuals, and teachers. Our contributions will never be consumed. They will pay interest, to the developing world and to us, for generations to come.
