My professional journey spans over 35 countries in roles as architect, project manager, COO, energy conservation specialist, and director for international development. For 10 years I served as in-house architect for the <strong>Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs<\/strong>, a role that took me to every corner of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-9195a09bf5b6121ebd3a6b97c5f08ce9\">Art &amp; Creativity<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-47a5bb2d1d90dd236901b1b63bb4cca6\">Art has always been central to my life. My practice includes portrait painting, bronze sculpture, glass mosaics, scrimshaw, and furniture \u2014 both in design and hands-on craftsmanship. I was the instigator of a public gallery in Ringsted, and my work has been exhibited in the <strong>USA, South Africa, the Netherlands, and Denmark<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-aaae68d10d2c1a02a96ff42f74e66e85\">ETHNO POP ART &#8211; The Indigenous Project<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-659e3245f2f98fd13311dba0ecb67f98\">At the heart of my current work is <strong>\u201cThe Indigenous Project.\u201d<\/strong><br>This ongoing series is based on my own photographs of indigenous peoples from around the world. The project is a visual and emotional reminder that there are still communities living outside the reach of mainstream media \u2014 cultures whose stories, traditions, and ways of life must be preserved and protected against extinction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-186865b6697c81382842c989e1923513\">You can read more about the background and vision of this project in <a href=\"\/wordpress\/\">the first top link <\/a>on this page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-4ca59d36c1d49fba2c3293f6daafe1c9\">Writing &amp; Storytelling<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-d59cb1a2ad36b7f89ee28e519b63e369\">I have published four books so far:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a3a99de7492c825cf0382d4a231d1d0d\"><strong>Dagga<\/strong> \u2014 a biography of my mother<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-84f7e7eada75dd21913ece20da584905\"><strong>Morfeus<\/strong> \u2014 a modern fairy tale<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-d50c3d4b92644b9f11e8c93498e3c8ce\"><strong>Bedstefars Eventyr<\/strong> (4 vol.)\u2014 the first volume of my memoirs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Sixth Chapte<\/strong>. (4 vol.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Morfeus, Dagga and first chapter of &#8220;Bedstefars Eventyr&#8221; has been published in English as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-f46933b0d0935da3bf6baa96214ef2b9\">Adventure &amp; Exploration<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1d5cea8c70f54cae2f2be81003e22ca7\">I am one of the few Danes who are members of the <strong>Los Angeles Adventure Club<\/strong>, sister club to Denmark\u2019s <strong>Eventyrernes Klub<\/strong> \u2014 with legendary members such as Buzz Aldrin and James Cameron. My new life here has given me a spacious atelier, where I can work with stained glass, large-scale paintings, and ambitious mixed-media projects.
