
Sonargeon used to be the city of kings, at the time when Bengalen was much bigger and strtched all the way to Delhi in india. Today there are only a few ruins left of this once a glorious place. Those ruins which were not plundered and torn down are now part of a large park area which is often viited by the local tourists from Dhaka, only very few foreign people find the way to this place, and frankly, theres not much of interest to see.
But furter down the road, mayde 10-15 minutes away from the main entrance, things starts to be interesting, the great white walls which surrounds the park area, are released by the typical small sheds, which are occupied by all kind of trades; small tea-shops and restaurants, cabinet shops, shoestores etc.,Its amazing how they can survive out here at the end of everything.
The row of small shops is all the sudden briken by a side road, and now things become interesting, its not Sonargeon, but what is it, it definitely doesn’t belong here.. A narrow street, about 500 meter long, with two
