Sodoma and Gomorra

These panels treat stained glass not as piety or ornament, but as a report from the front lines of human experience. Found media vacuum tubes, CT film, comics, ledgers, are soldered into luminous architectures where light becomes the narrator. Each work is best read in motion: as daylight shifts, the pieces edit themselves, revealing subtexts and afterimages the way memory does.

We traveled to Katowice, where we finally found a small glass workshop. I asked if they had any scrap glass I could buy. They smiled and said, “You don’t need to pay for that. If you have a bucket, just take what you want.” I didn’t have one, but they found an old plastic bucket for me to fill. I gave them a little money for sweets or a drink, whatever they liked. I left feeling deeply grateful, as if I’d found my own pot of gold.
