About
Danish-American of Norwegian and Polish heritage — an architect by training, an artist by calling, and an adventurer by instinct.
Holds a Masters degree in architecture from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and have lived and worked across the globe: Denmark, Norway, Germany, Greece, Angola, Bangladesh, South Africa, and the United States. My professional journey spans over 35 countries in roles as architect, project manager, COO, energy conservation specialist, and director for international development. For 10 years I served as in-house architect for the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a role that took me to every corner of the world.
Art & Creativity
Art has always been central to my life. My practice includes portrait painting, bronze sculpture, glass mosaics, scrimshaw, and furniture — both in design and hands-on craftsmanship. I was the instigator of a public gallery in Ringsted, and my work has been exhibited in the USA, South Africa, the Netherlands, and Denmark.
ETHNO POP ART – The Indigenous Project
At the heart of my current work is “The Indigenous Project.”
This ongoing series is based on my own photographs of indigenous peoples from around the world. The project is a visual and emotional reminder that there are still communities living outside the reach of mainstream media — cultures whose stories, traditions, and ways of life must be preserved and protected against extinction.
You can read more about the background and vision of this project in the first top link on this page.
Writing & Storytelling
I have published four books so far:
- Dagga — a biography of my mother
- Morfeus — a modern fairy tale
- Bedstefars Eventyr (4 vol.)— the first volume of my memoirs
- The Sixth Chapte. (4 vol.)
Morfeus, Dagga and first chapter of “Bedstefars Eventyr” has been published in English as well.
Adventure & Exploration
I am one of the few Danes who are members of the Los Angeles Adventure Club, sister club to Denmark’s Eventyrernes Klub — with legendary members such as Buzz Aldrin and James Cameron. I also founded The Adventurers Society, which continues to connect explorers and curious minds — you can find it on Facebook. https://www.adventurersclub.org/about-the-club/

Philosophy & Ideas
I have been a member of Mensa Denmark and later joined several international high-IQ societies, including The Immortal (founded by Brazilian chess master Melão Hindemburg), I-Sis and the International Society of Philosophical Enquiry (ISPE). https://www.thethousand.com

Today
I live on the Danish island of Fyn, together with my wife, my youngest son, and his family. My new life here has given me a spacious atelier, where I can work with stained glass, large-scale paintings, and ambitious mixed-media projects. It is a place where my past experiences, artistic visions, and adventurous spirit come together to shape the next chapter of my life journey.
