Los Angeles Adventurers Club
In 2012, I applied for and was accepted into the famous “Los Angeles Adventurers Club,” a club I am very proud to be a part of. Besides myself, there is only one other Danish member, Lars Nielsen, and only one other Scandinavian: the Icelander, Kristian Kristianson.
The Adventurers Society
In an effort to provide a joint forum for adventurers, I also started “The Adventurers Society” back in 2012. The underlying idea was for members to share and discuss their knowledge on various topics, covering practical logistics like how to get around and where to sleep, as well as necessary warnings about what not to do. Crucially, members were also encouraged to share their personal stories and experiences. Even though the society still exists, it hasn’t worked out in the successful or vibrant way I had originally hoped.

I gave three presentation at The Mountain club of South Africa and was accepted as a member of the Magelisberg chapter in 2009.
